For a change, I actually planned to post to LiveJournal this morning--but lo! the server is down! By the time it's back up again, I'll undoubtedly be much too tired to string two sentences together.
In the meantime, I keep myself awake by being really pissed off. Some people need to get the hell off my planet.

Two communities asylums you might want to add to your friends list:

07refugees is often helpful for those of us whose first homes were at LJ, particularly when LJ is having downtime (or business-decision drama) and we're wondering why.
Does anybody else have other suggestions?

Still posting as Hummingwolf over on LiveJournal. Not that I'm posting much substance these days, but that might change soon. November, after all, is MegaPoMo: MegaHAL Poetry Month! Who can resist the charms of everybody's favorite postmodern poet? Certainly not me!
Okay, it is possible that MegaHAL may not qualify as substance. However, computer-generated nonsense poetry is still vastly more entertaining than the U.S. presidential election.

For the record: I expect to continue to do all my posting over on LiveJournal (as hummingwolf) for the foreseeable future. This account is reassuring to have as backup, but LJ still has the community I've come to love. I don't want to give up on that unless absolutely necessary.
For amusement value: Check out the interest list on this profile, which consists entirely of terms you cannot search for on LiveJournal. I began to do something similar over here, but must bow down to the true masters.
